2022 SWCSRF Dream Higher Awards

This was the fifth year that the SWCSRF has awarded two eighth graders in our district with the Dream Higher Award. Principal Eveta Jackson of the Bayside Martin Luther King Jr. Academy worked with her staff to identify two graduating 8th graders whose achievements and potential deserved special recognition.

At graduation on June 10, 2022, SWCSRF Dream Higher Award certificates were presented to Indeya Sanders and Timmothy Kuruc-Gonzalez in recognition of their academic achievements and determination. These awards include a pledge from the SWC to grant each a scholarship of $500 or more toward higher education after high school if they continue to reside in the Sausalito/Marin City School District. We look forward to following their academic progress and to awarding scholarships to both Indeya and Timmothy in June of 2026.
